General Information

Rome is the capital city and most populated comune (municipality) of Italy. It is also the administrative centre of the Lazio region and of the Metropolitan City of Rome. A special comune named Roma Capitale with a population of 2.7 million in an area of 1,287.36 km2 (497.1 mi2), Rome is the third most populous city in the European Union by population within city limits. The Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, with a population of 4.2 million, is the most populous metropolitan city in Italy. Its metropolitan area is the third-most populous within Italy. Rome is located in the central-western portion of the Italian Peninsula, within Lazio (Latium), along the shores of the Tiber Valley. Vatican City is an independent country inside the city boundaries of Rome, the only existing example of a country within a city. Rome is often referred to as the "City of Seven Hills" due to its geography, and also as the "Eternal City". Rome is generally considered to be one of the cradles of Western civilization and Western Christian culture, and the centre of the Catholic Church.

Mini, venticinque anni di storia in Italia tra tradizione e nuove sfide
Era l’8 settembre 2001 quando la Mini moderna arrivava ufficialmente nelle concessionarie italiane. Da allora il marchio britannico, rilanciato dal Gruppo Bmw, ha attraversato un quarto di secolo mantenendo un’identità ben precisa, fatta di design riconoscibile, personalizzazione e piacere di guida. I numeri confermano il successo: oltre 480.000 vetture consegnate in Italia, delle quali circa 350.000 ancora circolanti. Se inizialmente era la piccola Hatch a conquistare il pubblico, oggi la Countryman rappresenta il 48% delle vendite nazionali. Per festeggiare i 25 anni in Italia, il brand ha presentato anche tre edizioni speciali che raccontano altrettante sfaccettature del marchio. La Mini Oxford Edition, realizzata sulla base della Cooper 3 porte, rende omaggio allo storico stabilimento britannico con la Union Jack sul tetto bianco a contrasto, cerchi da 18 pollici e dettagli esclusivi nell’abitacolo. Già ordinabile da settembre, arriverà nelle concessionarie italiane a novembre 2026. La Mini 1965 Victory Edition celebra invece la vittoria al Rally di Monte Carlo del 1965, con una livrea Chili Red attraversata da strisce bianche e il numero 52 sulle fiancate. Disponibile sulla sportiva John Cooper Works da 231 CV, arriverà anche in versione elettrica da 258 CV all’inizio del 2027. Infine, la Mini Paul Smith Edition porta la firma del celebre stilista britannico sulle Cooper 3 porte, 5 porte e Cabrio, con colori esclusivi, dettagli Nottingham Green e interni impreziositi da tessuti e finiture dedicati. Tre interpretazioni differenti, accomunate dalla volontà di mantenere vivo quel carattere originale che accompagna il marchio fin dalla sua nascita. Festeggiare i 25 anni, infine, è stata anche l’occasione per presentare la nuova Mini Countryman Untamed Edition, versione outdoor che mette il suv britannico in una veste decisamente più robusta. Amorim ha rinnegato il suo credo per far ingranare il Milan: che cosa vedremo contro il Sassuolo
Per vincere contro il Lecce (non un avversario imbattibile, va detto), Amorim ha dovuto cambiare parecchio del suo Milan. Ma soprattutto del suo credo. La difesa a 4, per l’allenatore portoghese, è proprio una novità. Ma è una novità che si è resa necessaria perché, al momento, il Milan che ha in testa lui non riesce a ingranare davvero. E quindi ci riprova, Amorim, anche dopo la sosta: ha sfruttato le tre settimane (due, in realtà: ha concesso un maxi riposo di sette giorni) per lavorare proprio su quei meccanismi e impacchettare una squadra nuova. Forse più funzionale agli uomini più in forma in questo inizio di stagione. E contro il Sassuolo, domenica pomeriggio alle 18, si aspetta dei riscontri. Intanto, il portoghese può contare su tutti i giocatori rientrati dalle rispettive nazionali. Jashari e Pavlovic sono stati i giocatori più impiegati, Gonçalo Ramos quello che ha sicuramente reso meglio e torna a Milano con tutto un altro spirito. E con qualche considerazione su di lui: è tra i giocatori che in Serie A ha corso di più, ma non è riuscito a incidere sotto porta. “Non potrò mai dire a un mio giocatore di correre di meno”, ha tagliato corto l’allenatore a Dazn, ma il tema c’è: se spazia troppo e non segna, è davvero funzionale alla squadra? O gli si chiedono i gol che in Portogallo ha invece dimostrato di saper portare? Qualcosa, anche su di lui, dovrà necessariamente cambiare: il nuovo modulo, in questo 4-4-2 o 4-3-3 molto mobile che ha in mente Amorim, dovrebbe andare a premiarlo meglio. Il problema è comunque legato agli uomini. Tornando alla difesa, con Estupinan infortunato dovrà essere Gila a prendere il posto dell’esterno adattato a sinistra, mentre Bartesaghi agirebbe sull’altra fascia. A centrocampo, Modric torna e gioca, nonostante la sua Croazia non sia stata indimenticabile. Il vero tema è sulla sinistra: spazio a Moreira o a Cisse? Entrambi hanno doti spiccatamente offensive ed entrambi giocherebbero comunque in una posizione abbastanza adattata. Ed è intorno a questo che ruotano tutti gli ultimi ragionamenti dell’allenatore: se andare con un 4-4-2 puro, o se passare a un 4-3-3 con Musah e Loftus–Cheek mezzali, puntando più sugli esterni a fianco della punta. Ci sarà da lavorare, tanto. Amorim ha voluto farlo prima di tutto facendo i conti con sé stesso: il suo Milan, per ora, è rimandato a data da destinarsi. Ne serve un altro, per ripartire nel migliore dei modi. In un mese che conterà 9 partite, tra cui un derby. Probabilmente, il mese che farà capire davvero a che punto sono i lavori di una squadra interessante. Ma non ancora del tutto convincente.
